REE is an integrated consulting and analytics service that assesses and benchmarks an entire compressor fleet to develop and implement data‑driven improvements in reliability, efficiency and environmental performance using a proprietary Fleet Performance Tool.

Challenge
- Limited existing material aimed at an audience with a purely engineering background
- Dated look and feel of the visuals and unclear messaging in the marketing materials
- Conflict with the modern approach of the newly developed large-scale browser based calculator tool
Approach
- Conducted interviews and workshops with global product managers
- Conducted interviews with regional product managers and sales team members who could provide valuable customer feedback on how the service has been perceived by customers
- Analysis of market needs (driven by diverse political directives, societal trends, and recent changes within the industry’s businesses in terms of sustainability and diversity issues)
- Clear definition of features, advantages and benefits and creation of specific personas with needs and pains
- Development of a communication and design concept that maintains the core of the sub brand with refined messaging for technical and commercial interests, and directed at an extended yet specific audience with sometimes opposing needs



Result
- Design refresh of existing sub brand in line with the refined messaging and extended audience
- Creation of new customer facing materials (explanatory video in various languages, webpage with mini version of performance calculator tool, social media campaign, adverts, templates for reports and proposals, training certificates, flyer, product information etc.)
- Creation of internal sales support (fighting guide, software tutorial and walk-through, PPT and Word templates etc.)
